Truman, Ruby and Mae Cellon abt. 1905
Truman, Ruby and Mae Cellon were the children of Frank (Buddy) and Jane Polk Cellon. Buddy and Jane ran a store on Archer Road about 1.5 miles west of Shands. This section of Gainesville was then known as Milliards Station. Truman died in 1925, Mae in 1922. Ruby taught school in Bell, it was there she met and married my grandfather, Johnie Jamerson. They had 6 sons and one daughter. Ruby was my beloved grandmother who lived love and family! She is my genealogical inspiration! "Nanny Ruby" died in 2000 at the age of 96, she was adored by all 14 grands and 13 great-grands.
