Willie Adams Stringfellow was born June 13, 1875 at Opalaka, Alabama. Her parents were Robert Toombs Adams and Dorothy (Dolly) Caroline Boyd Adams. Her two brothers were John Houston Adams 1878 - 1917 and Robert (Bob) Toombs Adams Jr. 1880 - 1943. She married Thornton Buford Stringfellow on October 8, 1895. They had four sons: Frederick Buford Stringfellow, Hart Robert Stringfellow, Jack Boyd Stringfellow & Arthur King Stringfellow. Willie Adams Stringfellow died on June 18, 1945 at her home 620 East Main Street South. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. |
