This is Ruby's senior picture from Gainesville High School, class of 1922. A boyfriend of hers urged her not to wear her spit curl for her this picture. He told her one day it would look so dated. Obviously, she didn't take his advice and I'm glad she didn't! I think it's adorable and spunky, just like Nanny!
